Before participating in the ABC Pilsen Program, our son enjoyed playing basketball, but did not show great interest in the sport. I believe it had to do with not being confident in his ability to play this sport. His attitude and confidence have changed dramatically since joining the ABC Pilsen Program. Coach Alex makes it clear to the kids that anyone can play basketball, no matter their height, talent or any doubts they may have. The camp is tough and the kids are challenged, but coach Alex is energetic in his motivation and the kids believe in his message and in themselves.

Our son “loves” camp and is excited when Saturday comes around because he knows he’ll get to improve his skills while having fun. He now dreams of being in the NBA and knows he has to work hard – but he’s ok with that because he enjoys the challenge –‐thanks to the ABC Pilsen Program.
